The west Noble Chargers took to the road to take on the Fairfield Falcons for their homecoming. The Chargers once again found their very pesky defense, and would only allow Fairfield to gain 118 yards of offense and wouldn’t allow the Falcons any points on the scoreboard. It would be the first shutout for the Chargers since 2011. Offensively the Chargers moved the ball, but struggled with some critical penalties throughout the night. The Chargers however found pay dirt midway through the fourth quarter and would hang on to be victorious over the falcons by a score of 7-0. The Chargers gained 218 yards of offense with nearly 170 of them coming via the ground. Leading the way for the Chargers run game was sophomore Brandon Pruitt with 87 yards on 11 carries. Senior Spencer Shrock would add 43 on 4 carries and senior signal caller Chase Wroblewski would carry 8 times for 45 yards and a score. Wroblewski also added 45 yards through the air. Sophomore Josh Gross had 2 catches for 27 yards and Senior Spencer Shrock caught 2 for 17. Sophomore Mark Silva connected on his only extra point attempt keeping him perfect on the season. Senior Draven Rasler wreaked havoc all night long for the Falcon offense. He would have 4 sacks on the night and several tackles for loss. The Chargers go to 3-2 on the season and will travel to Garrett next Friday night for a conference showdown with the Garret Railroaders. Great Job Chargers!!!!!
