West Noble Chargers Varsity Softball sailed to an easy victory over Northfield 14-3 on Saturday at Northfield.
The Chargers got on the board in the first inning when an error scored one run for West Noble Chargers Varsity.
West Noble Chargers Varsity scored seven runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower by West Noble Chargers Varsity was led by Lily Nelson, Jacelynn McDonald, Emily Thompson, and Dana Ritchie, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Kacee Click was the winning pitcher for West Noble Chargers Varsity. The pitcher went five innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out six and walking zero.
Kenzie Baer toed the rubber for Northfield. Baer lasted four innings, allowing 13 hits and 13 runs. Abigail Hunter threw one inning in relief.
West Noble Chargers Varsity tallied two home runs on the day. Click had a long ball in the fifth inning. Nelson had a homer in the fourth inning.
